Ibiza is a small island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea next to Spain. It is one of the best party spots in Europe but as well home to quiet villages, yoga retreats, and beautiful beaches. It is no surprise that the Balearic Island of Ibiza has some excellent seafood restaurants.

CAN PUJOL

A contender for the best seafood restaurant on the island, Can Pujol is located in a simple, thatched, al fresco building located near San Antonio. It’s well known for its excellent Bullit de peix, a fish stew served with Arroz a banda, a thin layer of rice cooked with fish stock and cuttlefish.

Restaurante Cala Salada

Located right at the end of the small cove of the same name, surrounded by pine forests and idyllic sea views. It specializes in lobsters, which you can pick right from the tank, they also do delicious bowls of fresh mussels and mouth-watering paellas. It is also the perfect spot to watch the sunset while sipping a glass of wine.

Restaurante Sa Nansa

Situated on the outskirts of Ibiza Town, this restaurant specializes in rice dishes such as paellas, fish, seafood, and Fideuas (paellas made with short noodles instead of rice). Must try are traditional Ibizan dishes such as corrida de bajada (boiled skate with almonds), Ibizan-style spiny lobster or grilled clawed lobster with garlic.

Es Torrent

One of the best beach clubs serving excellent seafood is located on the stunning Porroig Bay. Dining is right on the beach, you savor traditional plates of Bullit de peix, black rice made with squid ink, and lobster stew.

The paella is heaven-sent, while the grilled fish is equally as delicious. Each dish looks as enticing as the next, making your trip to Es Torrent a dilemma of which meal to choose.

Es Bolado

It’s located in Cala D’Hort right next to the sea, this restaurant offers one of the best views of the magnificent Es Vedra rock while you dine. They serve up every type of seafood you can imagine, from grilled grouper to fresh squid, steamed mussels, clams, and typical guisado de Pescado (fish stew). Must try the Paella de Espardeñas y gambas (paella with sea cucumber and prawns).

La Brasa d’Eivissa

La Brasa is very popular for its quality fish and meat, sizzled over charcoal, paellas, and Mediterranean dishes crafted with ingredients from its organic garden.

S’Espartar

This restaurant is in the San José de la Talaia area in Ibiza. Its star dishes are Bullit de peix and fried calamari. You can view the land’s unique landscape. This restaurant is recommended by the Michelin guide. Excellent paella, and a good place to try Greixonera for dessert.

It is a gem on the side of the road. The food is superb and the view is stunning.  They are famous for their seafood.
